The Burroughes hosted the inaugural benefit event of the Project Sunshine Canada Young Patrons’ Circle on the 6th Floor / Rooftop Terrace on September 22nd, 2011. Shine On! showcases the accomplishments of local artists and supports Project Sunshine’s work with children in hospitals. Over $8,500 was raised for such a great cause.

After publishing for twenty years as Eye Weekly, the paper successfully re-launches as The Grid on the 6th floor and roof top of The Burroughes. Party goers danced the night away as they enjoyed the open bar and free copies of the newly re-branded newspaper.
